Audit Services

This team works with groups throughout the company, offering a wide variety of services ranging from process improvement and risk solutions to pre-audit readiness and evidence standards review. Benefits Division

Benefits is one of Symetra’s three product lines. We sell insurance products to employers including Medical Stop Loss, Term Insurance, Disability Income Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance, and Select Benefits. Be a part of the group that supports products and services helping businesses and organization provide valued benefits to their employees.


Financial services is a highly regulated industry. Complying with laws and regulations is a continuous responsibility for everyone at Symetra. Our Compliance Department assists by recommending best practices, reviewing sales material, ensuring flawless product filings, and much more. Joining our team offers the opportunity to work with every product line and department throughout the company.

Customer Service

Our Customer Service and Call Center team is the point of contact and resource for our customers as well as our distribution partners. This group provides varied support to include complex functions, assigned administrative programs and projects. If you enjoy providing a high level of customer service while being the “face” of Symetra, this is a great place for you to put your skills to use. 

Life Division

Life is one of Symetra’s three product lines. As a life insurance carrier, we sell term and permanent life insurance products for individuals through a distribution network of banks, financial advisors, independent agents, etc. Be a part of this group supporting financial products to help families recover from personal loss as well as build legacies.

Life & Retirement Operations

Life & Retirement Operations is responsible for reviewing and processing financial and non-financial activities. This group interacts with both internal and external customers as well as distribution partners which provides employees with great exposure to how our products work. Joining this team can serve as a good springboard to other areas of opportunity within Symetra.

Finance & Accounting

We have full service finance and accounting departments where you’ll apply your analytical and technical skills in support of the company’s strategic objectives. Human Resources

Human Resources supports all levels of the organization, both operationally and strategically. Our team handles payroll, benefits, compensation, recruitment, and employee relations. Information Technology

It’s an exciting time to be part of Symetra’s IT team. Mortgage Loans

The Mortgage Loans department works primarily with a network of mortgage brokers who lend to the owners of commercial real estate. There’s a lot of collaboration and knowledge sharing in our department, which makes Mortgage Loans a great place to learn and grow your career.


Retirement Division

Retirement is one of Symetra’s three product lines. Our team services a variety of investment products including fixed and variable annuities. We establish and maintain policyholder accounts and have a full service call center and transaction processing unit. You’ll enjoy working with us if you like a fast paced environment with plenty of opportunity to learn new skills and advance your career.
