Symetra Bellevue Family 4th Presented by Q13 FOX

Family Celebration Features the Largest Fireworks Display on the Eastside

Bellevue, Wash. — (May 30, 2006) — The Symetra Bellevue Family 4th, presented by Q13 FOX, will celebrate Independence Day in Bellevue’s Downtown Park with live music, a full line-up of children’s activities and the Eastside’s largest Fourth of July fireworks display. Again this year, the 60-piece Bellevue Philharmonic Orchestra will deliver a special performance prior to and during the fireworks display. The event will air on Q13’s hour-long Big Bang FOX 4th telecast.

Performances by Emerald City Throwdown and country artist Jonathan Harris begin at 6 p.m. at the Overlake Hospital Medical Center Main Stage. The entire family will also enjoy activities at The Puget Sound Energy Kids Fun Zone with inflatable games, mascot characters, face painting, puppet shows and theatrical performances. Food and refreshments will be available throughout the evening.

Symetra Financial and the Bellevue Downtown Association invite the public to bring non-perishable food donations to designated collection areas in the Downtown Park. Donations will benefit Eastside summer children’s programs. Guests may also visit the Symetra Special Teams tent to learn more about volunteer opportunities with several Eastside charities.
