Symetra Adds Life Insurance Expert to Financial Institutions Team
Bellevue, Wash. — (March 16, 2006) — Symetra
SM Financial today announced Thomas G. Waters has joined its financial institutions channel team as a senior vice president for new business development. The addition of Waters is designed to help strengthen life insurance distribution with financial institution partners across the country.

Before joining Symetra, Waters served as senior vice president at INVEST Financial Corporation, where he directed new business development for the broker/dealer and its bank clients. Waters was also a vice president for Essex Corporation and played a key role in the company’s entry into the bank life insurance marketplace.
