First Symetra National Life Insurance Co. of New York Approved to Sell Medical Excess Loss in New York
NEW YORK, N.Y. — (Jan. 18, 2005) — First Symetra National Life Insurance Co. of New York, headquartered in New York, N.Y., has been approved to sell medical excess loss insurance in New York state, effective Jan. 1. The excess loss product is designed to protect companies with self-funded healthcare plans against large or potentially catastrophic medical claims.
