Flex Premium Plus Fixed Annuity

Top Tools

Flex Premium Plus is a flexible-premium individual modified single premium fixed deferred annuity. Flex offers clients a competitive interest rate, guaranteed returns, the ability to make additional purchase payments over time and tax-deferred earnings – all in one simple package.

Product Description

  • Tax-deferred, guaranteed growth and additional interest in the first contract year helps clients reach their goals.
  • Flexibility to add purchase payments over time avoids the need for multiple annuity purchases.
  • Our renewal interest rate history demonstrates consistently attractive interest rates – not just the minimum guaranteed interest rates.
  • The guaranteed minimum interest rate stated on your client's contract, and their earnings, are guaranteed (during the first seven years, the guaranteed minimum interest rate will be 2 percent, thereafter, the rate will never be less than 1.5 percent) – even if current rates at the time are lower.
  • Symetra makes the commitment that your minimum crediting rate will never fall below what is stated on the current interest rate sheet at the time of application.
  • Free annual withdrawals of up to 10 percent of the contract value per contract year provides access (100% access if admitted to a hospital or nursing home for 30 consecutive days or longer and submitted within 60 days of discharge).
  • If the contract is surrendered, even prematurely, clients are guaranteed to always receive back what they contributed, less prior withdrawals.
  • After the first contract year and anytime before their 101st birthday, clients may convert their annuity's accumulated value – with no surrender charges – into a guaranteed income stream.

* Not available in all states.

Withdrawals are subject to ordinary income tax and a 10 percent IRS penalty may occur if taken prior to age 59½
